To bad for TOL. I sell a lot of tickets out of TOL. People are just getting tired of dealing with DTW with the long wait in lines and the long walks to their gates. TOL is so nice. Walk in and go right up to the ticket counter and then speed thru screening and up to your gates. You can be at your gate within 5 minutes from check in, screening. Plus you don't have to wait 2 hours for your bags to be taken off the plane and make it to the baggage claim area.

It would be nice to see USAirways come back to TOL with service to PHL, PHX or LAS. And the air fare is cheeper then DTW 9 out of 10 times.

TOL flyers are notoriously unsupportive of their local airport. They seem to prefer an hours drive up I-75, $15/day parking if you want to park close to the NW terminal, and the joys of the TSA experience at a large airport. Between the extra time to get to DTW and the higher parking costs, I bet its usually more expensive for Toledoans to fly out of DTW. But all they see is the Orbitz or Expedia price on the nonstop, and that's all that matters. It's really a shame.
