Belly Landing At ASE Yesterday

According to the Aspen Daily News,

"A single-engine airplane performed a belly landing at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport after having a problem with its landing gear on Saturday at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Aspen Fire Department.

The mishap closed the airport runway. No injuries were reported.

The Piper airplane was piloted by Dave Vorkenhagen."

Do you know if the guy is a student pilot ??
