If an airline (CI) decides to purchase A350-8/9, as rumored to replace their A343s, would the A350 be considered in the same family as A333?
I know that from a pilot train's perspective, it must be pretty simple to be trained on both, but how about from MX point of view? I'd think it has to be very different.
So if CI really buys the A350, they'd still be adding a new fleet type to their fleet, would that be a correction assumption to make? Would this be an advantage for Airbus when trying to sell A350 to current A330/340 operators?
