NW Orient Seating Guide Question

Wed Mar 01, 2006 7:40 am

Hi,

I was on E-Bay and found a listing for a 1985 Northwest Airlines 747 Pacific Seat map. The thing is that after I checked it out I noticed that there was no "Orient" name on the brochure. So I emailed the seller and he responded by saying that the date code on the item said 8-85. So he assumed it was form then. But agreed, after studying ads and other NW stuff that it had to be from late 1986 or later. Any thoughts.

Was the name already being changed? (I know that according to all my info it was still Northwest Orient through all of 1985)

Could the date code have been a mistake?

Thanks, Andy

I would say yes the code could have been wrong.
