Cancelled Flights - Info?

Tue Mar 07, 2006 6:33 am

Back in December I was suppose to be on UA888 from PEK to SFO but the flight was cancelled at 6 hours before departure. I was rebooked on an AC flight from PEK-YVR-SFO. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service (if any) on the AC B763 from PEK-YVR, but that is another subject...

Is there a website that can give me a better infomation regarding a cancelled or delayed flight? (i.e. crew, mechanical, catering, etc...)

What would happen to that B744 in PEK? Once the plane is repaired, would they ever dead-head the plane back to the US or would they just cancel an SFO-PEK route on a future date, so they don't have an extra plane in PEK?

No, it's really not the general publics right to know the finer points of WHY the flight was cancelled...

You are correct, but I just thought someone might know of a website with more detailed flight info, than just airlines website...

Passengers should be issued with standard information regarding their rights as a passenger on a cancelled flight by every airline.
