Norwegian Starts Flying To Paris - Orly

Wed Mar 08, 2006 6:11 am

http://www.dagbladet.no/dinside/2006/03/07/459974.html (In Norwegian only)

Norwegian Air Shuttle - Norway's biggest no-frills airline will stop flying to Paris Beauvais in favor of Paris - Orly airport. This is great for Norwegian travellers as the Orly airport is located just 15 km outside of downtown Paris compared to the 80 km distance to Beauvais. Also, on trips to Paris it will be great not having to endure the travesty that is CDG.

As Norwegian keeps adding new European destinations for Norwegian travellers they are indeed giving SAS some much-needed competition. With their cheap prices, friendly crew, and constant service, Norwegian has quickly grown to become more popular than SAS amongst many Norwegians. Why would anyone pay twice as much for a SAS ticket when SAS offers absolutely no service in economy anyway?

Another blow for BVA. I believe Sterling and Blue Air have pulled out recently and Air Wales axed their CWL flights before they even started
