While We Are Talking About Food,

Mon Jun 05, 2000 3:26 am

Hello all,

While we are talking about food, what are some meals you would enjoy having aboard your next flight? Be honest, express your taste buds a little. Who knows, maybe an airline CEO is reading your ideas right now and you might just see and taste it on board the next time you fly!

The KISS principle - Keep it simple, stupid.

Large salads, deli sandwiches, pasta, lasagne, thai or indian chicken curry over rice, and ice cream bars or a piece of fresh fruit for dessert. Skip the bread rolls, mystery grey-brown gravy, mushy veggies, potato glop, bad desserts.

How about a nice pepper-broasted Chateubriand served over steamed wild-rice, crisp snow peas, bread torte, ankara coffee, and champagne. Or half maine lobster tail, rigatoni with tomato-alfredo sauce and smooth spumoni with champagne. Well, these are actually served daily on Midwest Express! If you're ever flying in the direction of MKE, OMA or MCI, make sure you try them and enjoy 2x2 leather seating, 22" seat width, 36" pitch, and the best care in the air!

A nice, big, fat Alberta steak with a Molson Dry or a Big Rock Grasshopper Wheat Ale to wash it down! Also some fries and a salad to go with it.
