Lufthansa Question/Flight From ORD Today

Thu Mar 09, 2006 6:20 am

I am not the smartest person when it comes to surfing websites. My parents are flying today (Wednesday) from ORD to MUC on LH435. What kind of equipment is that?

According to amadeus.net, LH435 is an Airbus 330-300. I couldn't search for today's flight but i searched for next wednesday and it showed A333.

You can always go to flighview which is a free site and open to the public to watch your parents flight track across the Atlantic if you would like. It can be a lot of fun.

http://www.flightview.com

Just enter in the airline and flight number or do an advanced search. If you put in LH 435, you can see all the flight information after departure time including things like airplane type.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Hi there,

You're right... the aircraft is an A343 today. The flight took off at 5:13 with 40 open seats.

- It was scheduled to leave ORD at 16:40 local time, I wonder why it was late? A friend of mine who flies for AA was at ORD earlier today (in the morning) and he said he saw a LH 744 parked, they must have gone to another city in Germany. He said that the 747s usually have about a three hour turn around time.

There's ATC issues at ORD right now becuase of the weather, so that likely caused the delay. There are now 3 daily widebody LH flights at ORD. 2 to FRA (747 and A343) and the 1 to MUC (A333/A343). This summer there will be a third FRA flight on a A343 (LH449).
