YEG sure does gain a lot. Just goes to show how Alberta is booming.

That's for sure. And WJ announced YEG-YXX a few weeks ago as well. Interesting though that Ottawa and Montreal service has still not returned. I guess there's more demand to the Maritimes.........another 'oilpatch' phenomenon.

Wow....YEG is picking up flights left and right these days.

With an expanded AC schedule already.....I would love to see some flights to Europe.

YEG had 4.5 million pax last year and looks like they will be close to 5 million in 2006.

But YEG-YHZ...I didn;t see that coming at all

great news

WS schedule enhancements seem to be a regular occurrence of late. What I find interesting is the non-stop YXX-YYZ flight starts three days before the AC E90 flight. Seems to me WS is out to solidify it's market share and exploit any opportunities now before AC out manouvers them. It going to be interesting watching developments over the next few months!

Given AC's addition of direct flights between YMM and YYT, I any Maritime-Alberta route should not come as a surprise.

Looks like its a redeye flight to Halifax! Arrives 0643am turns around and back to YEG at 0715am. I initially thought this might be an interesting route addition but the flight times are less than ideal. Same plane service through to YYT may have been interesting. Cheers.

Somewhat unrelated, but any news on an AA codeshare that was rumored earlier in the year?
