Flight Number Help?

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:34 pm

My daughter left Bermuda yesteray for Boston, and on the departures board was listed TNT354 to Boston, at 7.30pm (or thereabouts). Does anyone have a clue what the TNT designation is?
There was a plane from Xtra Airways in at the same time, but I can't find the designation for that airline either. I'm assuming that they're one and the same.
Can anyone confirm, please?

Well, first of all did you send her as regualar PAX or did you go for the air-freight option?  Smile

In my (not always) up-to-date list, TNT is Trans North Turbo Air, a Canadian carrier that I doubt (with a name like that) would fly from Bermuda to Boston.

That's the new name of Casino Express. They're more likely than Trans North Turbo to fly the route but their codes are XP/CXP.

Next-flight-out perhaps...
But TNT Airways (Belgium) is 3V/TAY and TNT International (UK) is NTR.
TNT does PAX charter flights, incidentally, using a 737QC and two PAX 737s, but most flights operate for Club Med. Another 737QC is due in this year, and the total PAX charter fleet should be 7 strong (QC and PAX combined) by the end of 2007.

Thanks!! The Belgium one does make some sense, as we used to have Club Med here but the company is trying to sell the property. Could be that the company honchos were here for negotiations or something...

My daughter took one look at Xtra Airways and said "no way you're getting MY ass on that thing!!"

It was Casino Express. It's a fairly regular flight from Bermuda - Boston, using B737-800s. Files flight plan as CXP354.
