Whose TriStar And 727 At SEA On Mar. 22?

Thu Mar 23, 2006 10:22 pm

On March 22 I saw 2 unidentified planes at SEA. The first was a beautiful L-1011 TriStar, with a white top, blue bottom and tail, and gold trim. It looked like it had just been painted. It was parked at the north apron with an all-white 727. Neither plane had any markings. I was too far away to see the registration numbers.

Anyone have any information about these planes?

Are you sure the L-1011 wasn't from ATA? They fly L-1011-500's into SEA fairly frequently for troop movements.

I would hazard to guess that the 727-200 was probably from Kittyhawk...but that's just a guess.

ATA have two L10-500s just put through major checks that wear their new colors but without titles:

Pretty certain that one of these two must have been your TriStar.

There are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots
