New TK A320 Interiors (Pic)

Fri Mar 24, 2006 11:55 am

In an earlier thread, most of us complained about the pink and the baby blue on the 738s, but this latest color combo on the A320s is very pleasing to the eye.
So, which one of these schemes is the new TK interior?

Well the comment says that the second pic is the revised interior. Therefore I would think that the second one is new interior that will be used. Just a guess though...

The second is different to your usual interior. But still weird. The 737 interior just hurts your eyes.

I actually love the brown and blue combo. I wonder where they got the idea?

Both.
On Airbus fleet, the baby blue will be accompanied with the brown.
On Boeing, navy blue is used. (not really evident on the picture due to photo angle)
I have flown on both of them.

If you actually fly the 738, it s not that bad at all.

Oh my God - I don't like these interiors at all....
Terrible colour combination. I would much rather sit in a Ryanair cabin with their illuminous yellow plastic seatbacks than in one of these TK cabins..
Awful...

what's wrong with the color scheme, it's quite nice, and comfortable too. Don't judge it by the pic, you should see it in person and be in the cabin too before you make solid statements

Yuck yuck yuck! I don't like them at all! Bad combination of colours that do not complement each other!

I totally agree that we all have different tastes and it is really hard to please everyone, but I am telling you this color scheme of baby blue and brown is sooooo last year New York City. If you don't believe me just ask your wives or visit:

I like the new A320 color scheme better. Both of the seats for the 737 and A320 look really comfortable.

This blue and brown is very popular right now. Go to a Restoration Hardware store. I dont think they need to throw that pink in there though. YUK!

What a distasteful colour (sorry, my opinion)...they should have kept the Swissair interior, the former operator of their A320s...

(even though the picture shows a Swiss A319 - it's exactly how the TK A320s once looked like inside...)
Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.

A-320 looks very ottoman. I like it but not sure about 737-800.

I agree, the pink curtains have to go on both planes. Like some others, TK is having an identity crisis. Why play it safe? Why try to look minimalist, cool, modern, ultra chic, urban like Swiss do? Why go dark blue, gray, gloomy when you have sunny skies?
I would love to see some Turkish carpet motives on the floor, I would love to see some great fabrics, patterns on the seats, doilies for the headrests. It is excellent to be different, and proud of ones culture. If it is good for Sean Penn on this film, it is good for me.
