Emirates continually asserts that they don't get any special treatment (in form of free or cheap fuel, ...) at Dubai Airport compared with all the other airlines landing at DXB.
However, when having a look at the website of Dubai International Airport:
you can see in the paragraph "Exemptions and Reductions" that all royal, diplomatic and state owend aircraft are fully exempted from landing and parking fees. As Emirates Airline is 100% government owend, logically their planes are also government owend, and so they are state aircrafts. As a consequence, Emirates wouldn't have to pay any landing and parking fees at all at DXB.
Do Emirates aircrafts really fall under the category of state aircrafts? If so, this would be a huge disadvantage for the foreing airlines landing at DXB, albeit DXB is a relatively cheap airport as far as airport taxes are concerned.
