First Boeing 737-800 For HLX - Future Of Hapagfly?

Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:09 am

HLX has taken delivery of its first two B737-800s, namely D-AHFO and D-AHFS, delivered to Hapag Lloyd in 2000, then leased to Air Berlin in 2003. Here's a picture:

Will we probably see more Hapagfly planes ending up with HLX? The question is whether these two airlines will continue to operate separately on the long term - considering a LCC such as HLX could operate many HF routes much cheaper.
