Double-decker W/5 Engines In A Film (Pic)

Wed Mar 29, 2006 12:22 am

In the futuristic "It's all about love" by Thomas Vinterberg, the film opens to a scene with this double-decker plane flying over some snowcapped mountains. I am sure this must have been discussed here before, couldn't find it.

I actually love the look of the plane, I think it is a great unifier for all the A and B worlds.

It looks like an MD11 fuselage with 744 wings to me. Hard to tell from that tiny picture.

That thing is Uuuuglee.
It has the A380s Horrible Forhead... That's for sure... would certainly make for some interesting spotting...

I saw the movie and was surprised about the plane.
the movie itself is not big deal. I didnt like it much. I just wanted to see the visuals more than anything, including that plane.

Looks like an A380 had sex with a 787. Maybe the tail engine can be assumed as a "new generation APU"... For sure it's no real plane.  weeping
