Awesome Live ATC Flight Tracking System!

Thu Mar 30, 2006 5:09 am

Hello all!

A friend of mine just passed me this link:

http://www.atcbox.com/modules.php?name=html-sbs1-live-radar

Follew the instructions and HAVE A BRIGHT SMILE ON YOUR FACE! At least I do right now!
I just watch Easyjet flight 7007 from Liverpool landing at AMS. You can see the follwing:

- reg number
- Flight number
- speed
- heading
- plane type
- altitude

You can also see overflying traffic at crusing altitude and you can also look at AMS only (5900) or at 6900 you can watch the Netherlands..
I know about Airnav systems etc but I have never seen a Flight tracker for The Netherlands.

Enjoy  Smile,
Frederik!
FlightS in the next 3 months: MSP, PHX, MEM, NCE, TFS, BCN. All round trips from AMS

it isn't a tracker.
it just receives the mode S transponder signal of those aircraft.

if you use their service.. please become a member of their site: www.atcbox.com

I think that can be called a 'flight tracker'  Smile

Check out this link for a USA dealer:

www.red1radar.com

No live screens but they sell the unit.

When it's runs in conjunction with the Live ATC feed it's great! Personally I worked at AMS for 8 years up until 2004, so I find it very interesting indeed. Also, I'm now working in a Flight Planning capacity so again, from that perspective also, I'll give it top marks!

FJWH, good man!
