Aribus is to adopt a380 cockpit for a350. I love a380's cockpit.

I've read in varrious places that this change will add another 3 years to the program. Why on earth would it add 3 years?

would cocpit change increse orders for a350..it is lacking a bit on when it comes to selling.

so does that mean a A350 pilot is more easily cross crew qualified for a A380 than a A330???

Just some more "borrowed" technology for the A350... Airbus is just handing this huge market over to Boeing on a silver platter!
Airbus or Boeing - it's all good to me!

I think it would be like the 777 and the 737 NG. Theres way too much a difference in size and handling for there to be an A330/340 or 757/767 situation.

actually SNBA uses it's flightcrews both on A319 and A330
also a big difference if you ask me

All the Airbus since the 320 have had similar handling, its part of the FBW.

MFF (mixed fleet flying) is done widely between the 320/330/340.
