I would like to get an actual response, not a form letter, to an issue I had on a recent flight.
As the others suggested, use the email link on their "Contact AA
" site. I have used it several times and by clicking on "would like a reply" (or something similar) I have always received an email response. It will still tend to be 'semi-scripted' in the sense they must get hundreds a day, but my replies have definitely addressed individual comments in my email... both complimentary and not-so complimentary.
As a side note, I had an incredible flight attendant from YUL
about two years ago and sent an email complimenting her service. About 10 months later I again flew the route and the same FA
was working the flight (she is a French speaker and does the YUL
route quite frequently). She had gotten a notice from her Supervisor about the compliment. She saw my name on the manifest and recognized it as the one who sent the message in and she came up to personally thank me. I got the opinion that the supervisor put the email or a note of some kind in her personnel file.
