A318 At CGH Yesterday

Sun Apr 02, 2006 6:55 am

Guys,

A318 was at CGH yesterday afternoon, while returned from FIDAE and I was one of the ivited to do some demostration flights.
I was very dissapointed for not being at CGH yesterday As I had to be in EZE and so I did. But I asked some friends to take pictures and I hope next week I can get them and post here for those interested.

By the way, while waiting my board to EZE on JJ8000 I could notice a RAF VC-10 and GRU. Does anyone knows what this airplan was doing there?

What airlines there are in the market for A318 type frames? Or could Airbus be promoting the ELITE? If it was F-WWIA, they should demonstrate it in the corporate fitout for better effect (if they hadn't already.) Please post pictures of the interior if possible, to confirm if it's still bare.

Well since it is in Brasil I would think maybe it was a demonstration for TAM. IIRC all of TAM's A319 are used for the CGH/SDU "Super Ponte TAM/ponte aerea" shuttle services because of their good short takeoff abilities.  Smile

The A318 is an option for TAM to replace all F100. But it is not decided yet as E190 is another good option. As soon as I get the photos, I will adv.
