Airlines' Inventory....Does Anyone Know?

Wed Apr 05, 2006 10:36 pm

I did a little search about this topic, but couldn't find much. So before you gang up on me for duplication of thread, just point it out to me and I'll be happy  Big grin

But I was wondering if anyone had a list (or could create a list) of the airlines' airplane inventory, how many extra planes are reserved for "on the need" basis, what they are (B777, A340, etc...), where they're located, how the system works basically. Much appreciated.

Sure thing! heres a site that displays fleet info and aircraft that have been in their past history or in storage....

Airlines usually have X number of routes and X number of aircraft operating those routes X times daily.

Hope it helps! spin
