Quoting A319XFW (Thread starter):

When I read it my thought was that was just about what happened when I went down a slide for real about 25 years ago. It is not satire at all, it is the sad reality of an real evacuation. And it there is any satire, it is the evacuation test itself, not only for the A380, B787, but all aircraft.

I really hope the Dr. Helen Muir and her collueges at Cranfield Univ get to develop computer simulations of what their research shows.
Now so, have ye time fer a pint?

Hahaha! Surprised they didn't include "results" of how the KFC Mega-Huge-Bottomless Bucket o' Wings that was brought on board spilled in one of the aisles, holding up 49 evacuees as the food-purchasing passenger couldn't bare to see even one of those gourmet wing go to waste. Ah, well.

My favorite bit is after the article ends. It says: For More Information: www.boeing.com, www.jennycraig.com Natch.

Well, that was good for a few chuckles. I especially loved the part about the "Oversized Luggage strewn about the cabin."

I like the information links included Jenny Craig. That was a funny, somehow sad and true, read. Thanks for sharing!!  Big grin

HAHAHA LMAO so true though... I'm surprised they didn't mention the army of lawyers that were holding up the evacuation by giving out their business cards...

May I ask you what happened to your aircraft?
