Delta 767 At YVR

Sun Apr 09, 2006 9:04 am

What's the story on the DL 7-6 parked out by the AC maintenance hangar today? Charter? Maintenance? Or something related to the brewing strike?

Several months ago I think I remember seeing a Delta aircraft looking about the right size for a 767 parked in an Air Canada hangar. Same aircraft? Diff aircraft same reason? Unrelated? I don't know.

Interesting. Too bad I don't live 2kms away from YVR as I used to. But the (ex-CP) AC hangar usually sees some nice visitors, including Air Jamaica.

I am even more surprised at DL 733s doing the YVR-SLC runs when looking up some flights!

Of course, the late night flyer 738 from ATL is now on its way.

The Delta 767 is likely in there for scheduled maintenance as Air Canada does heavy maintenance for Delta 757's and 767's. Right now the only mainline aircraft Delta flies into YVR is the 738 for Atlanta (going to be upgraded to a 757 during the summer) and the 733 for Salt Lake (going to be upgraded to a 738 during the summer.
