North American Charters In Brit Livery

Sun Apr 09, 2006 9:17 am

I was at YYZ today, And I notice a lo of the charters (A320's and 757's) where in British company liverys. conquest was in Mytravel livery, and sunquest was in first choice (ex air 2000) livery. What gives? Are these aircraft leased, or are they changing over? Cheers,

I believe a lot of British-registered charter aircraft get leased to operators in Canada during our winter season here, when the number of flights drops slightly.
From the construction site that is better-known as London Heathrow Airport

Hi,

MyTravel Group own Sunquest Vacations in Canada and have an agreement with Skyservice where that in the UK Winter season, when demand is lower, MyTravel aircraft are leased to SSV and in Summer, when demand in the UK is high, SSV lease aircraft to MyTravel.

First Choice also have a similar agreement as they own Signature Vacations in Canada.
