Question About UA E+ International

Sun Apr 16, 2006 4:05 pm

Making a jaunt next month from KWI to BKK on TK, then UA BKK-NRT-ORD-BHM. BKK-NRT is on a 744, while NRT-ORD I have a choice of either the 744 or the 772, since they leave NRT within several hours of one another.

Question is, from an Economy Plus standpoint which A/C is the better option, as far as comfort, quiet, seats/rows to avoid, etc.

I am a US Airways SP and will be looking for the E+ upgrade. Folks out there have any suggestions or comments? Thanks...

On the 777 you get PTVs in E+.
Though when I flew on one of them ORD-NRT a couple of days ago several of the movies had tapes that were in such bad shape that they were unwatchable.  Angry

Definitely go for 777. You get PTV and with 2 5 2 seating you can be lucky to get good seat. Even if you get very middle seat, you are still better off then 747 - no PTV and 3 4 3 abreast. In term of service and performance - it's all the same.

Enjoy the channel 9 and have a safe trip

Thanks, maybe a mod is lurking around and can move it to Polls and Prefs.

To those who have responded so far, thanks for the input. Sounds like the 777 is the way to go...
