Sad to see Hooters Air about to unplug. However, they will still do charter flights. Link to an article about Hooters Air: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/mld/myrtlebeachonline/14211018.htm

I wonder if the charters are going to be done by Pace? Although Hooters (Brooks) owned Pace, they ran seperate offices. What aircraft are left in Hooters livery?

If you ACTUALLY read the press release, it says SELECTED cities. I don't think it means it will go 100% out of business as it fails to mention that.

Aircraft 252TR and 250TR are the remaining aircraft in Hooters Colors. Both will ferry tomorrow to INT and be striped on the hooters name and owl. the orange colors will stay.

What you say is correct, but the fact is that Hooters Air will cease operating as of today.....Pace (which operated the flights under the Hooters Air name) will continue to do charter work.

Another airline gone.....it shows how difficult it is for a start-up carrier, even one with reasonable backing and a brand image, to begin operations at the present time. Hooters was "goofy" - but its always sad when an airline closes down.

Hooters had a fleet of 732, 733 and 752 aircraft, correct? Any info on the disposal of the aircraft?

All the -300 went to a company in Russia KLD I believe.

The two 757's

513NA and 750WL is still sitting at VCV I believe.

The -200 will be kept by Pace.
