Varig Seat Configuration.

Tue Apr 18, 2006 2:55 am

Hi,

I need your help. I’m going to fly to Brazil this week.

I’m flying economy class and wanted to know which seats are located next to an emergency exit. (You know the seats I mean are those where you have more space than in normal rows for your legs)! I have already found a seat map online, but I don’t know which configuration will be flown on these flights. Does anybody know which configuration they are going to fly??

Here the flights:

RG 8741
2006-04-21
FRA-GRU
MD-11

and back

RG 8744
2006-05-03
GIG-FRA
B 772

I need the information till 19th of April!

Thank you for helping me,

Quoting MADtoCAE (Thread starter):

Wish you a nice trip to Brazil. It's hard to say that Varig will keep two fixed planes on FRA-GRU or GIG-FRA nowadays. But they keep using their best available planes to FRA.

The best row on economy is 23 A, B or C. 15H is also a very good seat.

On the return, probably you will travel again on a M11 as Varig nowadays keep only one 772ER on it's fleet in conditions to fly.

If you need more info, you also could send me an instant message.

Regards,
Felipe

I've flown on Varig's MD11 and have to say that the standard economy legroom was rather generous.

In the 772 row 21 is an exit row with lots & lots of legroom.

Also rows 19 & 20 are curtained off from the rest of coach (near crew rest) and are nicer.
