Hmmm, Lufthansa? Why would LH recommence services to Sydney with a A380 when they could operate the route now with the B744!

I agree with the rest SQ, QF, EK, TG, MH and eventually VS I think.
Quoting Planemanofnz (Reply 5):
LH also has expressed interest in returning to Australia in 2007/8 with it's A380.
Quoting Cedarjet (Reply 6):
I don't see Lufthansa doing it with the A380.
Quoting Planetime (Reply 11):
VS no not really VS has stated that 380 for them is for the N.American routes primarly JFK,LAX, is high on prioirty list. And afterwards other Asians cities.
Quoting YULWinterSkies (Reply 12):
Perhaps taking over OS's VIE-SYD route? The capacity of a 777 + some additional German capacity = perhaps enough to make profit on an A380 ?
Quoting HKGKaiTak (Reply 13):
I thought VS said they'd bring the A380 here when they get them ... don't they not quite have enough seats to sell at least on the HKG-LHR sector and that's limiting them on the SYD-LHR route?
Quoting ZK-NBT (Reply 15):
They have 6 on order so 3 for HKG-SYD daily then a daily 2 LAX they could squeeze this out of 1 aircraft then 1 to JFK and maybe SFO.
Quoting Planetime (Reply 16):
3 aircraft is a waste of equipment for VS. Could terminate at HKG,
