TG B747-300's

Wed Apr 19, 2006 8:37 pm

Hi Smile

Now as the TG MD11's are retired, what will happen with the two B747-300's that they have?

It's a truly classical aircraft to fly on, and I have flown them regularly on the CPH-BKK route. But I don't see them on that route anymore. Just B744's.
Just love flying

I just used the (very cool) Star Alliance RTW route planner and for SYD-LHR, the aircraft types are listed as "744" for the second, BKK-LHR leg, and "747" for the first, SYD-BKK leg. My first thought was that maybe they use the 747-300s for the Aussie flights, hence Star Alliance don't show "744" for that sector. Interesting to then stumble on this thread.
