Klm Flight Returns Twice To MAD With MX Problems

Thu Apr 20, 2006 5:44 pm

Yesterdays KLM flight from MAD to AMS had to return twice due to the same mechanical problem.

Does anybody know who does maintenance for KLM in MAD.

If this would have been IB we would never hear the end of it. Lucky it was KLM  sarcastic

That route has had quite a lot of incidents lately, in just some weeks they have had a bomb threat and now this...    Obviuously, however, we can't blame KLM for the bomb threat. And I think it's too early to come to any conclusion about the maintenance issue.

At the bus station, buses stop. At the train station, trains stop. At my desk, I have a work station.

Did it actually take off 3 times? Or were they still taxiing? With petroleum prices at over 70$ a barrel I hope they were...
I wish that all skies were orange and blue!!

No they took off twice and then after the second attempt they re allocated the paps on different flights.

I think they returned after 10minutes into the flight both times.
