UH OH...No Window?

Sat Apr 22, 2006 6:00 am

Hey Guys

Is there a window on a BA 757 in seat 24F. I know I'm being a little specific but any help would be appreciated. I think seat 24F is just infront of the 3rd door on the left jand side of the aircraft and theres a big section with no windows, hope there's a window!

Thanks

Lawrence

their aircraft vary. The best thing to do is go into "book my seat" on the british airways site, but you'll need your confermation number. On the ba seatmaps they showed my dads seat being club world when it was world traveller plus.

I've already booked my seat now and printed my tickets, its too late for changing  Sad
At least its only a short 50 minute hop, and its at night so I wouldnt see much anyway. Oh well, I can only wait and see.

I highly doubt they'd put a business class seat with no window...

Whenever you are wondering about a seat on your flight, this web site has the "411" on most of the majors and their fleets. Best of luck!

Row 24 on BA's 757s has 2 windows on each side...

There's a toilet ahead of the L3 and R3 doors, row 24 is the last row before those toilets - both the seat backs of row 24 and the cabin windows go right back to the bulkhead.

If you see in the photo there's just one missing window ahead of the L3/R3 door which corresponds to the location of the toilet.

I think Continental has me in their database in the category "give window seat with no seat" This has happened to me everywhere I fly them (Indonesia, Portugal, Guam, Hawaii) it's almost starting to make me think they have me marked or something.

I agree, nothing worse then being lashed to the floor with cargo ties!
I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!

You will have a view. I remember the right side of the A/C of the 757 has at least one window.

It seems like RJ 900s are the worst for having a row with no window. You get a window seat with no window, unless you want to tilt your back 120 degrees.

The most I've had with no window as two and a half hours on a 747-200. I count myself lucky.

Thanks for all the advice guys, it turned out there was a window to look out of, great service with BA, I'd definitely fly with them again...already planning my next day trip.

On the Spirit of Delta (767-200) There are about 2 rows of seats in the middle section with no windows.
The only valid opinions are those based in facts
