Sun Apr 23, 2006 10:17 am

Well here goes one of two aircraft back to Thomas Cook in England.

These aircraft were used for the winter months in the US.

Sad to see it all end like this for Hooters.

So how's it at Airtran?

I seen the Pace/TCX 757 land today at MAN, not sure on the reg, but it was outside the Monarch hangar the next time I seen it, obviously for Thomas Cook titles to be reapplyed.

G-FCLD now back in service with TCX, in full Thomas Cook Airlines livery.
Anyone know when G-JMCD is back?

Quoting Jetset7E7 (Reply 4):

Well that didn't take long. Should be very soon for the other aircraft.

Pace just laid off about 60 757 pilots.

Very unfortunate....

Rumour has it there was going to be an oppportunity for PACE Capts to move over to TCX for the summer, but BALPA put the boot in and only FOs allowed..

Understandable really as FOs need some opportunity to progress, but a shame the PACE guys were let go. Hope they find something soon.

It is a shame as the contract went pretty well out of ORD. One of our Captains from N801DM went over to fly this contract and really liked the Thomas Cook product. He is on his way over to EGCC to sit as an FO for the summer and will fly the left seat when the planes come back to the US in the fall.

Best,

N801DM
