Flying Through RNO Question

Sun Apr 23, 2006 12:13 pm

In June I'll be flying on a morning WN flight PDX-RNO-LAX, one-stop in RNO. Any suggestions for which side of the plane to sit on for good views of the city, mountains, airport, if it makes a difference?

Thanks for any information.

The vast majority of the time in the summer, RNO lands south on 16L or 16R, which means the righthand side (the F/Os side) is going to give you more scenic views of the various mountains along the coast, as well as the North part of Lake Tahoe.

Thanks for the tip. Being it's Southwest, as long as I'm at the front of the line there should be a good choice of seats.
