Why is the nose wheel # 333, while the reg is N334DL? I looked at some other DL 732, they all had matching #s-at least the -232 did, I think the -247 have a different #.

Why doesn't this one?

I didn't see a N333DL in the database. Was there ever one?

A lot of it might have to do with how they intergrated the WA 737's
into the fleet and what ship numbers they were assigned. Just a guess.

Fleet numbers and registration numbers often are the same, but sometimes they are different. If you look at the tail of 334DL you can see again that the fleet number is 333.

A couple of points. N334DL was never a Western bird. Boeing to DL in Dec of 84.
There is no N333DL. N332DL and of course, N334DL, exist. DL did not skip over
ship numbers. They used ship 333 for N334DL. There you have it.

According to the FAA's site, N333DL is a Cessna 182K built in 1967 (not sure if it's always had that reg though, says certification issue date was in 2005).

I remember doing cabin service on that particular 732 a few times and wondering about that. I figured it had to be that the registry N333DL had been taken beforehand.

Edit: Hrm, though, come to think of it, N333DE and DA must have been taken too, unless they hadn't thought of those alternates back then...
