Is Swiss doing the maintenance on SN's A330's ?

If so I wonder if they still charge SN triple what they charge other airlines like
they used to do in SN/SR times!!!

I would say it is done by SR Techincs (not related to Swiss/Swissair etc. anymore) which is a different company than Swiss technic but maybe I'm wrong.

Not sure about the Sabena case but at least something similar happened to Crossair Europe and their Saab2000s. Or how you (Swiss) can get rid of them by doubling maintenance costs from one day to the other...

That is offcourse you're right to think so, but I happen to just have finished
a 250 page book today about the whole SN/SR debacle! This book
contains interviews with all the big guys from that time. The belgian
managers like Godfroid, and politicians like Rik Daems,Verhofstad and
a lot of former SR managers like Brugisser,Corti,Reutlinger and Müller
(the last one was so-called SN CEO but has always been on SR payroll!

And that practice I'm describing in my first post was actually really happening
at that time, not with maintenance but with Catering and ICT services.
I know this is not a thread to start talking about this all over again, but I'm
just trying to defending my case.

If you think this is a stupid comment it's either because you don't know
the truth or don't want to admit the truth !!!

I really don't want to be rude here, its just that I fail to see what the point of all this is. If I'm correctly informed, Sabena hadn't managed to turn in a profit once in the thirty odd years before they were taken over by Swissair. So it's not really as though it would have changed anything if 'big old nasty' Swissar had charged them less for the services provided.

Guys, focus on the topic. The aircrafts are in ZRH for heavy maintenance purpose and reconfiguration. All 3 A330-300s will do the round-trip.

Eventually a paint job will be applied and that's what we want to know about.

Will it be an all-new scheme ready for the new brand, even if it has intermediary SN Brussels Airlines "stickers" applied? Will it boast the new brand name at all? Will it look exactly as before or will it be aligned with the current scheme (adding light blue belly). Lets focus on this.

Do a search on what has been discussed before and then you would have been well informed as well. This issue has been discussed more than 100 times around here.

Your comment is stupid because it doesn't have anything to do with the SN 330 at ZRH. And if it would be through what you have said, the only stupid thing about it would be SN sending their aircraft to ZRH for maintenance if they still would pay double or triple the normal prices than somewhere else.
