Santa Barbara 767

Tue May 02, 2006 2:46 am

The Santa Barbara B767-300 (TF-FIA, leased from Islandair) is now in Filton for a new leasing to El Al.

Does S3 have it's own B763 yet? Could it be one of the two former LAB 763?

Yes. Here is the link to a picture: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4...A%20%28Grd%29%20FZO%20%28A6%29.jpg

I found out that Air Plus Comet operate a A310 (EC-IPT) for S3.

That's correct. Santa Barbara has been using an Air Plus' A310 for the last month since their 767 is out for a reason I am not aware of. I took a picture of it last time I went to CCS...

Unfortunately, photobucket has gone mad and doesn't allow me to show pictures on this forum, I'm pissed.

I think it's pretty crappy to downgrade a 767 service for an A310 one. Their promotions on the 767 are no longer on the radio and on their site, so will this go for longer?

I hope to see a definitive 767 in their fleet fully painted.

Saludos!

Why is it considered a downgrade?

Isn't it a smaller capacity aircraft and less efficient and cheap to operate...? Oh well, if it isn't, I said id because I like the 763 best Big grin.

767 and A310 are considered fairly equivalent in all respects.
