I hope they say no. After 2+ years in the IAM I can tell you it is the worst union ever.
What do I know? I just fly 'em.......

At the top of the main message board there are a set of 6 underlined terms just to the left of the link that allows you to change forums. The very last link says "Search" and it will allow you to enter various keywords and the forum will look through the topics and see if there are any current topics that match your keywords.

The unionization attempt at B6 will probably fail this time, since the airline has been posting losses. When the airline is doing better, they will be more likely to succeed. WN is about as heavily unionized as any other carrier and far more unionized than DL.

I doubt that the IAM is the worst union ever but it has lost favor with many mechanics groups, despite being a machinist's union, because it is not sufficiently millitant. I think this is because the meachnics feel that they are less replaceable than ramp or customer service.

Are the rampers separate form the CSA's at B6? I always thought that
their station personnel were cross-utilized at stations that did both above
and below the wing functions.
