Aeromexico At JFK

Tue Jun 13, 2000 10:46 am

Next Tuesday I'm booked on Aeromexico flight 405 from JFK to Mexico City- according to my schedule, I'm on a 767-200ER, however, I've never seen an Aeromexico 767 at JFK, and last time I flew between these 2 cities, it was supposed to be a 767, but was a 757 instead. Does anyone know if Aeromexico Flight 405 is a 767 or a 757? Thanks.

It says on their website a 75D which would be a 757.

The Aeromexico web site shows 405 as a 767-200, but also shows a Delta code-share flight at the same time as a 757. This flight used to operate a 757, but perhaps they are switching aircraft for the summer. Regardless, please post a trip report upon your return!

Safe flying! Aeromexico has great service!

AeroMexico normally operates that route with 757, but something very usual with AMX is that they can change the aircraft type for one particular day, for example, if a MD-80 flight is oversold on one day, they probably will change that particular flight if they're able to for a bigger airplane, say a 757.

So it really depends on the situation of that particular flight for that particular day.
