Well, the Bureau of Transportation obviously hates me tonight, as it returned N761 for the first one and N769 for the second, which obviously aren't right.  confused

Do you suppose it means N761SW and N769SW?

I thought I had checked for that, but it turns out N769SW is a 737 operated by WN, but N761SW doesn't work out.

N761RR is a Southwest 737-7H4 with winglets, delivered in March 2000.
N769SW is a Southwest 737-7H4 with winglets, delivered in June 2000.

I hope this helps

Yes it's the same site that's linked above :

BTS

However, only the following airlines are covered :

AA B6 CO DH DL EV F9 HP FL MQ NW OH RU TW(!) TZ UA US

Also bear in mind a little known glitch with the system too. For example, flight UA1234 might depart HNL at 2200 local on 1 January for SFO, where it will arrive local time on 2 January in SFO. Logically, you would look up the arrival details in SFO for 2 Jan and look for UA1234. You will probably find it as well but it won't be the aircraft that departed HNL on 1 Jan! BTS can't handle time zone differences so always lists the details under the local time and date from where it departed, so in the above example you would need to search for UA1234 on 1 Jan in the SFO arrival details because that's the actual date it departed (even though it arrived local time SFO on 2 Jan).

Took me ages to figure that out - couldn't understand why the BTS info never matched the ACARS reports!

RobK:

Thanks for the follow-up on international flight aircraft registrations. I've used the site for domestic information for some time, but I guess I'm losing it, however, because all I can find is registrations for domestic flights...I can't find the tables for international flignts.

For example, if you select a date and departures from Dallas, the NRT/KIX/LatAm or European destinations do not appear.

I did search and found a statement that the information was for US domestic and territories, but I am not at all certain I haven't missed something

Thanks, anyway!
