IAH Terminal E Question

Tue May 09, 2006 12:40 am

CO national flights passengers arriving at terminal E have to wait in line with international pax or they just go directly to baggage claim and the exit?
I was checking the website and it shows all passengers must go through customs, probably I'm wrong.

Thanks

They go on the long (and I mean long) trek to the baggage claim in C if its a domestic flight.

Actually, the walk is not that long if you use the walkway thru the parking garage, just across from the Terminal E food court. It will take you over to the parking garage level 3 where you enter the upper level of Terminal C above the ticket counter. Then just take the escalator down two levels to baggage claim. I don't think the walk is any longer than in MIA, SEA, ORD.

Does the train not go from Terminal E to Terminal C?

Yes, but it really doesn't save much time since the train is located closer to Terminal D than E. You might as well walk.

The only problem I have with the garage are all the chain smokers getting their fix before their flights. It's nasty, especially on a hot and humid day (see May through late September).

I prefer to just walk from E to C and look at the progress of the Terminal C upgrades!
