STA SARRV SDEPT
PET 100A
FRB 130A 145A
FRH 200A 300A

FRC 600A 700A
ORP 800A 900A
UKB 1000A 1100A
UKC 1200N

It's supposed to be operated with a 767, is this a charter flight?

It's probably for internal use at US. Other airlines have something similar - I know that AA has flights for internal use that show HDQ-FSG and the like (they even still show as 747 service  Wink )

IIRC some of the U city codes for USAirways were used for reservations centers.. like UFO was used for Orlando.

Yes, they're just for internal use. Most flight numbers that end in 13 are the same, with some really bizarre routings.

I was bored one night at work and I think I got to about 8913. Beyond that there are no more "13" flight numbers.

I remember TA had a flight #777 that went SAL-HDQ-FSG-somewhere else. We used it for training, making test reservations. That was back in the times when they used SABRE; I don't know if the flight is still in use now that they switched to Amadeus.

outsourced US reservation's agent... and proud of it!

No kidding... I used to work for the same call center company! (not for US, though) I worked in the GUA call center, of course, but visited SAL a couple of times. Is R. Colindres still the big boss at US reservations there?
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

Just to clarify my earlier comments, with regards to these US Airways "flights", they're not just for training and making test reservations. There are actually legitimate circumstances where they're used in pax records by agents at the ATO--I just forget exactly why at the moment.  Silly

Perhaps they come into play for dummy rebookings, providing somewhere to "stash" a passenger's reservation until it can be transferred to the correct flight?
USAir A321 service now departing for SFO with fuel stops in CAK, COS and RNO. Enjoy your flight.

I want to say that they somehow help agents with regards to forcing a fare to price...or something. That could be completely wrong, though.

I know for sure that the question has been asked and answered on here a few times, perhaps even by me at one point, if anyone wants to try their luck with the fabulous search function.  Wink

So far, I've only been able to find this thread here:

http://www.airliners.net/discussions...eneral_aviation/read.main/1991151/

In Reply 3, Captaink confirms my feeling that these flights have something to do with pricing, but nothing more specific than that.

Nice to know that. We only used them for training, especially since one time that an instructor used real city codes for a test, and revenue management started wondering why was the plane full of John Smiths...  Silly

Cool... I bet he still remembers me from the time he was at TA, us tour desk agents were his permanent headache. Big grin
