It's horrible!

Filler, filler, filler because apparently 'It's horrible' isn't good enough for this site.

I am not liking this one. It is too busy, takes away from the traditional red and white which is fairly sharp. I think if it didn't go the full length of the a/c it would be better.

That look good.  Smile

Must have been a complex job to paint that, or is it just decals.

It represents Swiss culture, though it may not apeal to aviation buffs, its goal is to raise the swissness image of the company, I think it does a fine job. Very Gruyere.

I LOVE IT!

It's a wonderful design... I would also love to see one make use of the stylized Edelweiss that Switzerland Tourism uses...

great design!

I like the painting...I was referring to the hideous Zurich airport advertising on the back part of the plane. A shoppers paradise if you have a huge wallet maybe...

Swiss is one of the most prestigious and classy brands in the airline business today! Please don't waste Tyler Bruls excellent work with third party agencys awful jobs .. let Wink do the work!

Is this how Swiss pretend to save money? What cost would be associated with such a scheme?

On a positive note, I rather like it. Always better to stare at that, than an ordinary livery.

Swiss people tend to be so simplistic that this livery may be called PURE UTOPY !

Good if everyone else likes it, I don't.

But nice to see a special livery with Swiss (beside the Star one). A good move ...

I like it, something different, although to me the BAe-146 looks good in any color scheme. That has to be one of my favorite all-time aircraft.

As for the country of Switzerland, I LOVE it. I've been to visit one time, staying in Lausanne, Bern and Zurich and would go back to visit again and again and again. Such lovely people and such incredible beauty in your country as a geographical region as well.

I even went to the Swiss Army Knife (Victorinox) factory !! They don't have tours of the plant, but I still had to go see it.

If I don't focus my eyes on details, I think it's very uplifiting, thanks to the colors. However, when I actually look at what's going on, I feel like I'm looking at story board prints for a lost Ricola commercial. The fact that the design basically repeats itself doesn't help matters. Perhaps it would help if the upper half of the fuse was painted a nice blue, so as to draw the snow-capped mountains out more.

It certainly beats their regular Eurowhite scheme. At least SR had some grey on the belly.  Wink

Even though I would not connect those colours with the ZRH shopping area, I think it is likeable...

As far I know those Appenzeller Bauernmalerei is very popular among foreign tourists, so why not...

Any suggestions for a more suitable design?

Cheers

Well, here's an idea. The original Tyler Brule design intended for the engines to be brown, personally I think that would have looked quite stylish. So, in order to promote 'swissness', why not piant the engines, or the whole plane for that matter, in a kind of chocolate brown Toblerone or chocolate bar livery? And please don't take me too seriously!
