which is sticking out of a maintainance shed on the north side of the field - anyone know what it is having done? For anyone who is in the area and wants to take a look, it is clearly visible from NW 36th Street, in the 5500-5600 block.

Around 4.10pm, I saw a Ghana Airways 757 in full livery taking off.... what it was doing here I have no clue... anyone any idea?

Saw the Ghana Int'l 757 at a maintenance hangar on the north side about two weeks ago when I was there.

The GIA there is probably the one that they are leasing from Ryan International and so my guess is that it is there on maintainance. But if this one has been in MIA for a while, what aircraft is Ghana International using for its scheduled ACC-LGW flights?

Its a Ryan International Airlines, reg N930RD. Its being leased to Ghana International Airlines for the time being until they get their own metal.
I cant really give all the info bout it as i dont really kno all. I kno other A.netters will have more info and might even know why it was at MIA.

It was in MIA for maintenance, remained at a hangar for around 2 weeks. Perhaps you saw it on its way to Africa for regular service w/G. I. A.

N930RD was in MIA for a C-check. N526NA was her replacement for just over 3 weeks. 930 returned to service on Saturday - RYN6101 MIA-YYR-LGW.
