You beat me to it Ricardo!
I was about to publish this.
We all knew Pereira has some potential regarding Panama, some people in this very same forum said Copa Airlines would be interested in such a service but Aires just beat them... now it'd be interesting to see if Copa would fly to Pereira in the end, and see how competence in that route would turn out to be...
By now, let's hope Aires succeeds in this new route, I'm quite proud of that little Airiline.
About the Airplanes, I'd think they're Dash8-300s, but I couldn't really tell.
Nor could I tell if they're totally new or used... anyways, I'm quite happy for this news.

An aviation article by the press with no mistakes would be too good to be truth.
Oh yes, I've always said so. Even Airbus stated in their webpage that the A380 went to Olaya Herrera EOH
and said the A380 was being tested at 5000 feet and not Jose Maria Cordova MDE
and 7000 feet !
I wrote them about it and they said that page was constantly changed, but they never changed that even though I gave them proper data.
Or when the Aires' Dash8 was hijacked at Bogota and they said:
"The Fokker of Aires was parked in the fourth runway of the military Airport of CATAM"
Most of you should have guessed now... but if you didn't I'll clarify.
Aires does not operate any Fokker, CATAM is not an Airport, it's only the military apron of El Dorado intl Airport of Bogota which only has TWO runways!.
Media sucks regarding Aviation... I've always said so, and Colombian media holds the gold medal in that!.
By the way, thanks for posting my pictures.
