Maintenance Hangars At IND

Mon May 15, 2006 5:22 am

I met a gentleman this afternoon who said he works for Chautauqua in the maintenance department at IND. He also mentioned that they moved into "The Old ATA Hangar." Now, TZ does not have any revenue flights in or out of IND but I thought they still had their maintenance base here. Did TZ abandon their maintenance base and did Republic move in? He said that they work on all three ERJ models and the E170 models in that hangar. They should have plenty of room. Does Chautauqua still have a maintenance base at SDF?  scratchchin

Last I heard, Republic aircraft are now maintained out of PIT in the old USAirways hangar 2. Shuttle America aircraft are maintenaned in IND out of one of the old United hangars. Chautauqua aircraft are maintained out of a different hangar at IND.
