He owns a 707 and a Gulfstream 2. His 707 registration number is N707JT.
Here is a link to a picture of his home in Florida.

Mitch,

Travolta currently owns five aircraft, with of course his main fame resulting from his Boeing 707-138, ex-Qantas.

He called it Jett Clipper Ella in honor of his son, the name Pan Am often used in its 707 nick-names, and his daughter, respectively.

His house in Jumbolair, Florida has its own landing strip and taxiway which he obviously uses!

Not a bad life!  Smile
Cheers,

The Boeing 707 is named for his daughter Ella.
The Gulfstream GIIB carrys in registration his son Jett's birthday. 4-92

You'll need to provide information on the other 3. I have been around both aircraft for 10 years now and only know of these two... but over the past years he's had many 'toys'

By looking at the picture of his house, one can assume he also owns a helicopter, since there's a heliport on the other side of the property... or at least it looks a lot like one!

The question is will travolta's next order be for an airbus, or a boeing?

With the kind of money he's got, both!

If you're referring to that circle "out back", I dunno: that would be an awfully tight fit with all those flag poles lining the perimeter... It looks more like a driveway (for cars) going around a water fountain of some sort -- note the cars in the parking lot that connects to the circle, and also the roof extending from the house over that driveway...

About that big circle on the opposite side of the house from the airplanes. It is indeed the "automobile" driveway. There are towns throughout the world that have been built specifically for aircraft and the runway is your basic road. The homes even have "carports" big enough for private aircraft. Of course everyone has cars which run on a lot of auto roads aside from the runways.

As to Travolta's home, it's obviously designed for his passions. Yes, this man has made lots of dollars, but many good causes have benefitted from his generosity. I think the name on his 707 puts his sentimentality right out there. A lot of Travolta's heart is showing beautifully.

What most people forget is that there are a lot of other celeb-pilots. Harrison Ford loves flying and even bought a beautifully restored Beaver after doing a movie which had one in it (he did his own flying too).
Tom Cruise also owns a beautifully restored mustang and some other historic stuff besides his Gulfstream. I pretty much don't care about the Gulfstream but I'd love to go up in the P-51D.
Also Bob Lutz (Chrysler) flies an MD-520 as well as a Czech L-39C Albatros.
Dennis Quaid also flies, but don't know what.

There is a movie called Dream Jets that has him flying his G-II. He goes over a few aspects of the flying and you see him take-off. Then he turns it over to his other pilots and goes to the back and takes a shower.

The documentary is pretty cool. They go over more technical things when I would rather see more flying, but a good rent.

Have a good day guys.
