GOL Increases Fleet Plan.

Wed May 17, 2006 11:34 am

GOL will slow the return of leased airplanes and increase the amount of 733s and 737NG in service over this year and next until deliveries of their first of 67 738s on order commence, this will see them operate 74 737s by the end of 2007 rather than the planned 64.

GOL currently operates 47 Boeing 737 aircraft. To adequately serve demand, the Company has increased its 2006 fleet plan by two 737-700 NGs, and its 2007 fleet plan by eight 737-700 NGs and two 737-300s

Not that the article mentions it but they will also announce the exercise of further 737 Purchase Rights (of which they retain 34) around the time of Farnborough.
