Southwest = Cattle Car Airways

MCI is the airport here, but no one except aviation people call it "MCI" locally. Locally, it's known as "KCI".

SJO's ATC "callsign" and nickname is El Coco. This because when SJO was originally opened, it was first known as El Coco International, before it was re-named into Juan Santamaría International. Still, most Costa Rican aviation enthusiasts plus all ATC and pilots call the Airport El Coco.

I think I could be incorrect, but when people flew on Texas International's DC-3s didn't they call them, "Tree-top Airlines?"

And then for Alaska I have, based on the font they use for their name on the plane, Fllaska Flirlines.

Sort of correct. Right airline, but wrong name. Before Texas International, they were called Trans-Texas Airways (TTA). That is where Tree Top Airlines came from. Also Teter-Totter Airways.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems with just potatoes.

When my mother lived in SXM in the late 70s, they frequently refered to ALM as Always late Airlines, with the A for Antilles being Altijd. She also made some reference to KLM standing for Konstantly Late Airlines.

If anyone ever flew Sun Jet, a low fare airline that flew old DL planes, I believe, you'll understand why I call them Suck Jet. There my poor mother was, with a 7 and a 5 year old stuck on the ramp in DFW in the summer, on a jet that didn't run the APU, waiting for Sun Jet maintainence to fix a plugged lav that some stupid mother had flushed a diaper in. Then, on a 3 hour flight (and my mother didn't know this), all they served was one drink service and "fresh baked cookies", which they baked the entire flight and finally served like 5 minutes before touchdown. Miserable flight.

Apparently a long time ago, PWA (Pacific Western) used to stand for 'Please wait awhile'. Some people like to call First Air (7F) - 'Worst Air'
