well, it of course depends on what you applied for. I know that MOST of the F/A, enjoy their jobs immensly. I talk to them on a daily basis, and they all love what they do. they ESPECIALLY love their jobs now that they all got their new contract.
Ramp....im not quite sure how they like their jobs. From what i hear the guys/gals up here really like it. Sure its cold in the winter, but they deal with it.
CSA....fun job, but you deal with all the crap. ( im learning this... :-P ) you gotta take the good with the bad. and most of it is good!
lastly...I would just like to say, i have not met many alaska airlines employee that do not like their job. for the most part, those types of people, that don't like their job, do not pass probation. the interview process is pretty rigerous, and its that way for a reason, they only want to hire The Best people. ( I KNOW this isn't true in ALL
stations...some stations AS
is desperate for help, and they will take anyone ) but if you are in a station where it is well staffed, and they have to turn people DOWN for the job, then you will see the kind of people alaska airlines is known for. Long story short...there are BAD employees everywhere, at ANY job.
I have to say that I feel like I have another family here at work. I know the F/A that fly in here by name. Same as most of the CA
/FO. We all look out for each other, and care for each other.
If you get job offered...I wouldn't turn it down. Its a great place to work!
