Volcanic Activity In The Caribbean

Mon May 22, 2006 2:12 am

Does anyone have the 411 on the volcanic activity now taking place on the Caribbean island of Montserrat? As I read Aeropostal and American Airlines have canncelled all or some flights to the Caribbean. Can anyone confirm if other airlines have done the same? I know the KLM flight(KL734) from Aruba (20/05) has been cancelled but on the other hand they operated the KL785 to CUR via SXM as scheduled today. Can anyone shed some light here?

Much appreciated!

The flight to POS was still on today. It arrived 6 minutes early at 1.13pm. Why wasn't this flight cancelled???????

Cheers
