BA Cargo Questions

Wed May 31, 2006 6:52 am

Do BA Cargo co-operate with DHL to provide their European Cargo network into LHR?
Do BA-Cargo co-operate with some of the Asian cargo carriers into LHR? Their online timetable lists flights from LHR to Dubai, Seoul, Tapei and Tokyo

Thanks

I believe they do use DHL, yes.

I don't know about Asian carriers, but would guess if they say Seoul, Tapei and Tokyo, considering the only one of these cities it flies its a/c to is Tokyo, I would assume they use JAL, EVA and Korean Air Cargo.

DHL operates a charter for BA every Sat afternoon ARN-EMA-ARN.
Freight containers and pallets are carried on B767. The BA781 carries around 12ton of freight every day. Most cargo in Europe is palletised and then trucked to LHR.

Yes, BAWC use DHL for their intra-Europe freighter network. They also have space agreements with JAL (from NRT), KE (from SEL) and Eva (from TPE via DXB).
